[A Deep Conversation on “Leading with the Heart” | CEO Yang]
Are you leading a team,
or a group of “tool people” who just wait for instructions and finish tasks?
In the world of management,
the most expensive cost has never been salary,
but people’s hearts beginning to leave while you still think everything is normal.
Many people misunderstand leadership
as commands, authority, KPIs and system design.
But in my realist experience,
the force that can carry an organization through twenty or fifty years
has never been control, but whether people’s hearts are willing to stand with you.
And this matter
was already explained thoroughly 2,500 years ago.
This video is about the Buddhist “Four Means of Embracing” —
giving, kind speech, beneficial conduct and cooperation.
It is not ancient scripture,
but a set of underlying management logic, repeatedly verified in my running of Ponsfu and building international compute centers,
that truly retains and unites people.
In the video, I break down how to turn these four kinds of wisdom into the actual behaviors of modern leadership:
• Giving
Don’t be afraid of giving resources;
what you should really fear is employees feeling in their hearts that “you can’t be trusted.”
Only by giving trust and a share of results can you earn long-term loyalty.
• Kind speech
Words are the lowest-cost, highest-return investment.
A sincere “thank you for your hard work”
can sometimes steady morale better than systems and raises.
When the Buddha taught, it was never preaching but kind speech.
• Beneficial conduct
Is your decision
beneficial only to yourself,
or does it let the grassroots and partners move forward together?
When you truly benefit others, benefiting yourself is often a natural result.
• Cooperation
Being a CEO doesn’t mean standing in the clouds forever.
Debug together, visit customers together, bear reality together;
leadership comes from empathy, not titles.
I share this video
because in an era when AI is gradually replacing repetitive labor,
the value of “people” will only be amplified without limit.
And what truly retains talent
has never been systems,
but this ability to “lead with the heart.”
If you want to build a team —
not just for salary,
but one willing to fight for a vision and for each other,
then these 2 minutes
will give you a very direct, very realistic reminder.
📌 Leadership is not about letting people see your strength
📌 It is about letting people see their own value through you
