PSF Leads a New Era of AI × Drones! Milestone of Cross-Disciplinary Smart-Tech Cooperation Grandly Unveiled
Ponsfu Industrial Co., Ltd. recently teamed up with the Taiwan International Drone Racing Development Association and the China University of Science and Technology to grandly hold the “AI × Unmanned Vehicles Education Development Center and Taiwan International Drone Racing Development Association Inaugural Conference” at CUST’s Nangang campus. The event drew more than a thousand leaders from industry, government, academia and research, witnessing, under PSF’s lead, Taiwan entering a new milestone of cross-disciplinary integration of smart technology and unmanned vehicles. Minister of Transportation and Communications Chen Shih-kai noted in his remarks that the drone industry is already an important core of smart transportation and the development of the low-altitude economy, and strongly affirmed the efforts of this event to combine education, technology and industrial application, believing it will help Taiwan build a strategic advantage in global competition. Vice Minister of Education Chang-Liao Wan-chien also said that the combination of AI and drones is not only a driver of industrial innovation but a key direction for cultivating talent in higher education, and that CUST’s cooperation with the association is a model of “industry-academia co-prosperity.”
At the conference, Chun-yu Yang, CEO of Ponsfu Industrial Co., Ltd., gave a keynote speech on “AI Compute and Drone Applications.” He pointed out that in the future drones will play a role not only in logistics, agriculture and public safety but will also rely on powerful AI compute to support their intelligent development. CEO Yang stressed that the combination of AI compute centers and the drone industry will create new industrial momentum and international competitive advantage for Taiwan, and that Ponsfu Industrial will continue to work with all parties.
As a leader in Taiwan’s AI compute, Ponsfu Industrial has now formally joined the leadership of the Taiwan International Drone Racing Development Association and CUST’s education system. In the future, through industry-academia cooperation, it will bring cutting-edge compute resources into teaching and research, hoping to open a new chapter for drone applications in Taiwan.
The conference also featured an AI drone swarm flight show and a technology showcase, and held an industry-academia cooperation signing ceremony, in which the China University of Science and Technology, the association, the Taiwan Development Research Institute and several companies signed memoranda of cooperation, announcing the formal launch of the Education Development Center.
