2025 Year-End Essay | Seeing the Progress of Civilization in the Interweaving of Structures

Seeing the Progress of Civilization in the Interweaving of Structures

A cold wind sweeps across the streets of Taipei outside the window.

2025 is about to turn and fade into history.

This year,

I was in the chilly server room in Brno, Czech Republic,

and also in the government office in Asahikawa, Hokkaido;

moving back and forth between green-power systems and reflections on the Diamond Sutra.

We are not doing projects;

we are, for the next ten years,

setting the tone for the world.

[Compute Is Not a Number; It Is Sovereignty]

Many people ask me:

Why run back and forth between Europe and Japan to position compute centers?

Because what I am really thinking about

has never been the $4/hr price,

but rather —

does the AI of the future have sovereignty?

In Brno,

in the H200s lined up in formation in Shiga, Tokyo and Hokkaido,

every single run

preserves, for Taiwan and for the world,

judgment that is not outsourced.

Compute is only the foundation;

what we truly want to build

is a tower called “trust.”

[From Personal Judgment to a System Algorithm]

In 2025,

what pleases me most is not how many deals I invested in,

but having completed

the definition of the “CEO Yang | AI Battle System™.”

Judgment

should not belong only to the intuition of a few.

This year,

I broke it down, structured it and engineered it,

turning it into a system that can be replicated and passed on.

When the Decision Authority System™

is written into contracts,

when the Trust Ledger™

becomes the common language of boardrooms —

for the first time I am certain:

human judgment can finally be left behind.

—

[Between the Diamond Sutra and Green Energy]

While promoting low-temperature pyrolysis green power,

I often recall a line from the Diamond Sutra:

“All appearances are illusory.”

Projects, valuations and contracts

will all eventually pass.

What truly remains

is only that motivation of

“salvation and transformation.”

Turning waste plastic into electricity,

so that AI no longer becomes a carbon-emission liability —

to me,

this is not ESG,

but one person’s

accounting to the Earth.

【2026】

In 2025,

we completed

the closed loop of

compute × energy × capital × influence.

In 2026,

we seek not speed,

only steady, replicable amplification.

The future will only be more realistic, and more cruel.

But in my heart there has always been a fire —

passion for the value of judgment,

without a trace of restlessness.

2026,

We are not just doing business;

we are going to —

define the height of the next civilization.
